This reminds me of occasions when I feel frustrated when I miss a bus and would be late for work/appointment, or when I lose an opportunity in life and feel sad about it. I try to comfort myself there may be a reason to have missed that bus - I may have avoided an accident; or there may be a better opportunity coming by soon.
Guess what's important is to be contented in life. That is why I envy dogs very much - aren't they easily contented? They just need food, shelter and love from their owners; and they are very happy and contented already. :)
