another air-con interchange comming up

from today newspaper...do we really need it? personally i dun think so.... they are planning to build another one a clementi central... why are we spending so much money on these luxury things when most singaporean wants is a clean, organized, well ventilated and maintained interchange... this air-con interchange, plus the 2 existing and 1 upcoming one.. i think bus fare going up again... "we will try to keep the operation cost low..." yeah right... keep saying that but every yr they are spending more and more... i work in a gov IT department... and from the way they spend on IT... i would gauge only 60-70% are well spend.. the rest is wasted on either lack of judgment or simply "money not mine"... maybe its because they have too much money to "play" with...anyway... i once lived in clementi west for 19yrs... they are going to build the interchange together with more HDB flats and a shopping mall...once everything is build, most likely it will lost most of its charm.

why blog?

i've blogging for quite a while... i dun know why i blog.. i blog because i wan to be heard? or what.. i really dun know... but i believe its because of some unknown reasons... but i do know... i am a techie person.. and blogging is cool.. keke.. anyway...many big organization... mostly IT organization started to have their own internal blogging intranet communities... so as it was told... blogging increase the author self awareness and better in expressing oneself in un-edited form...sharing of views and ideas...blar blar....i wander how effective will it be to be use as a productivity tool in an organization...there are already forums and emails... most likely the employee will spend most of the time musing himself...self absorption like me...haha... anyway.. my coy is coming up with our own blogging communities.

in-camp training

completed my low-key in-camp training for this yr on monday... next one would be around same time next yr... as we were told... a high key one... damn.. this is only my 4th in-camp... still got 9 more to go... that means still must 'reservist' and 'ippting' till 40 yrs old!!! wha liew... at my age.. people are already completing their 13yr cycle soon... some more mine 3 out of 4 of in-camp is low key... used up all the 'power-up' in-camp liao... aiyo.. slow slow slow... must as well get it done with quick... anyway.. this in-camp was a rifle conversion... from the main stay M16 to the new stylo milo SAR21... with all the 'wow' factors... words when we draw out the rifle were "aiyo... how come so heavy?!...how to 'kok' the weapon huh?"... handle it like using duck leg duck hand... but after a while... not bad lah... can use lar... haha

company's staff day

went for my coy's annual staff day (aka family day) at downtown east last sat morning... first time i went for my coy's staff day... which is usually quite 'boring' for singles like us...we wan excitement! not silly sissy games... haha..anyway... that day...entry to wild wild wet or escape theme park is only $5... a good bargain... and the most important thing is i won myself a $40 takashimaya gift voucher in the lucky draw! yesh! kekeke...
