wat happend

eve day of x'mas went out dinner with a bunch of friend...know and unknown... at the NUSGH... the buffet food was good but... not much variety i must say... weather windy and nice...chatted.... exchanged presents... then is off to 2nd round at Felicia's house...she, roy, joo, caro, lanti org. a home party.. it was great... around 25-30 people.. great party... games... food.. drinks... and atmosphere!... we went back home exhausted... :)
x'mas day was quite...away from the crowded shooing areas... gone out to watch Stephen chow's '功夫' at belestier... great show.. very entertaining... must watch movie category.... later went SPGG for a few round of pool... dinner was fish slice fried 'hor fan' and fish meat rice noodles...at west coast (FYI... its one of the best...some say its even better the holland one... its in a coffee shop just behind west coast CC.. cannot miss it)... seletar reservoir is next...really had a wonderful day...
sunday went blading with ah hui and shirly... and dinner at bedok... din blade for quite a while... butt pains... hahah..
monday we were both on leave... so went karaoke...wow... its the longest karaoke i had.. 5hr.. 2 people.. sing until no voice... haha..
tuesday... today... i am on leave!!! oh yah!

went to Cash Converter yesterday to sell off my old fuji film finepix 2300... a 2.1 mega pixel digi cam.... got it 2 yrs ago...when i bought an insurance plan... its has been a good cam... but now i own cannon A95... have no use with it... so decided to sell it off.... when i went to the shop... quite surprised... not only the queue was long... but the people... bought all their old stuff to sell... i mean really old stuff...you name it... told tea pots... irons... tea cup set... telephone... photo frame... hair dryer....etc etc... i got a queue number.... (btw.. the queue card was a used cd.... with a number sticker on it... which is my queue number 33) i seat quite close to the counter so can over heard how much was offered for their items... 10 pieces pokemons sets.... 50c.... old wood photo frame (2x) $1.... old vacuum cleaner... $10 .... old basketball... rejected.... old pirated cds.... rejected.... i mean... wow.. they really buy everything...well...almost... i tot my turn will be fast since got 33 and the number was 27... i was wrong... waited around 1+hr for my turn... (some of them ahead of me bring so much stuff to sell!!!...wha liew)... sold my digi cam for $50... not bad... since got no use with it... can put this money into good use... like... food... movies... karaoke.... muahahah...

hypnotized!

do you believe it?... i was kinda only half believe that you can be hypnotized.. till i went to watch Alan Bates... a UK comedy stage hypnotist at 1 nite stand last friday evening... a comedy cum pub house... the show was aim to entertain us... we... the audients...volunteers to the stage to be hypnotize....to make then do funny things... there are about six people... 1 man 5 ladies.. eventually really got hypnotize... from there on the fun really begins.. they are told to believe and do silly stuff like picking up a calls from their ringing shoes... becomes ballerinas performing on stage... making them believe they are seeing Alan Bates... naked… and make them see his head can be removed form his body...it was hilarious!...the really fun part was during the 15 min interval... where he ‘release‘ the 6 hypnotized volenteers to their seats.... with a mission assigned to each of them... 1 is to become santa's helper who will write a wish list from the audience... 1 was told that all the audient are hollywood's stars... another was told to tell the audients drinking is bad... another to be a shepherd who is to find her lost harp of sheeps... and during the interval... they really did what they were told.. it was so funny!!!... the 2nd half of the shows can’t to do more of those silly stuff... the whole show was nearly 2hr... but those performers thought they just went to a doze for about 10mins... and they dun remember wat they did during the 2hr... wow!... haha... I am quite convinces that you can really be hypnotize.. but... only when you wanted to be... and can focus to be hypnotize... u can’t be hypnotized if u are against it... as told by Alan Bates himself.... a good show for just $20 with 1 drink...very entertaining indeed... you have to be there to see it :)

happen to came across this song 'sumiregusa' (mean's 'wild violet') by Enya while trying out some mp3 downloading links... always been a fan of Enya... why i like Enya's music?... cause of her beautiful voice and her music are calming...smoothing...healing... soulful...inspiring...teary... quite surprise that there is a song i haven't heard of before... my reaction was she has release a new album!....and i am going to buy it! yes... i have all Enya's albums and downloaded singles that was not released in album...but after some search... and made a visit to site http://www.enya.com/ and discovered it was actually a japanese tv commercial for panasonic's new flat screen tv.... and the song is actually in japanese... tot it was in the usual goatish type of languages... hahaha... anyway the mp3 song quality downloaded from the net is not very good ... i guess it was captured from a stream...but still better then wat you are listening here... the song can be listened at http://www.enya.com/ or... u can download from the net... oppss... i am not encouraging piracy ok…

been a rather peaceful day at work… no hectic last min works…no heart attack situations... generally a normal day for me... :) went for a jog… found my stamina degraded slightly... can’t run as fast last time... maybe to tired... or maybe because of the weather.. hahah…wat to do.. had decreased the frequency from 2 x per week to barely 1 x per week.... better buck up … else IPPT is going to fail again.. kekeke...
well...talk cock sing song side... watched the new heineken beer’s tv commercial. just now... rather cool... those drinkers with a bottle of heineken beer all started to break dance... and their ear tip... all flip up... especially like the 2 aunties... bang shoulder and give the hip hop style hand sign or whatever... cool!...

lazy?

am i lazy or just to bz to update this blog? i guess it was both... i am bz and lazy at the same time...so sorry to all my fans out there! (if there are any... hahaha) hmmm.. can't remember wat i did these few days... my memory had failed me again...so many thoughts i got in mind.. but suddenly lost it...must be my job lah... IT no good lah... better note it down before i get hectic again! wheeewww...

friday... went to my company organized movie event... $1 per ticket to watch alexander... wat a lengthy and draggy movie... the show never really tell us why alexander is so great... i basically catch no balls... not inspiring at all.. but at least i know he is a person who chase his own dreams with passion, so maybe that’s why people love him and make him so great???... hmm.. not sure.. but 3hr show... watch able as a whole....because of the battles scene.

Sat really 'pour cold water over my head'.... got a call from my boss to attend assist a user to get the paper jam out of their receipt printer because its critical... ohhh man...what is critical??? life and death? anyway.. in the end i have to get a spare printer and change it for them... all the way from changi village to my office... then to harbor front...in the end have to 'call off' the evening early...bumper. you know ... there is this thing about lady boss which i don't like... nvm...else i will get bombed...

Sunday went to the botanical garden.. there are activities for the yellow ribbon project... awareness and money raising i guess...she brought her dog along for a walk... nice place for a walk to relax... bumped into Cris... he was taking photos there... his wife was not with him... away to accompany her sis while her hubby was away...heard some bad news from him... one of our friend we hang along wif during our secondary school days marriage was called off... likely something not good had happened... we both don't know why... that's life... you will never know what can happen in the future...
